Yesterday I went on a second trip to the Treshnish Isles this summer. It's a small group of islands west of the Isle of Mull. A month ago I went and we were lucky because we had more time on Lunga as the sea was a bit rough and the boat couldn't land on Staffa. It was quite a rainy day, but I still enjoyed the sea birds and got some nice shots. It is always a delight to walk amongst the puffins, razorbills and guillemots. The sight and smell is overwhelming at times. Yesterday was a gorgeous sunny day. This time we had much less time than usual, because someone arrived much too late back at the boat when we left Staffa. You can't win them all. It's a bit of a race against to clock to get to the far end of the island, take photos and be back on time for the boat. But well worth it again.
