It has been too long since I updated my blog. By way of catching up I will post a few of my favourite photos from the dolphin season. There were not many days over the summer where the light was good for dolphin photography. Many grey days where photos sometimes turn out almost black & white. Sometimes you can turn this to your advantage by actually converting them to B&W, for example with this photo of a newborn calf next to its mum. The calf was only a week old.
Catching a big salmon
Maybe not the most spectacular photo,
but one of my favourite dolphins, Charlie.
We have seen him grow up since he was a baby.
He is five years old now and all of a sudden
he is not a wee dolphin anymore
There were not many days this summer when the sun was out
and the dolphins were active
This is my favourite photo of the season;
a mother and calf (Zephyr & Breeze) playing about.
